As part of my ongoing oral history study, LOOK, LISTEN CAREFULLY, conveys the years long experience of three working-class women who emigrated from Turkey to Germany on their own between 1961 and 1973. The film intends to reveal women's life stories and experiences by looking at the field of the ordinary that is narrated, 'gestured' and at times silently told in front of the camera.
